Privacy policy for Deep ID

This page explains how we handle data, how device intelligence is used, and the principles we follow to protect user privacy.

Summary

Deep ID helps customers protect their platforms from fraud and abuse. We aim to minimize data collection and support privacy-preserving usage patterns. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have regarding your information.

What we collect

We may collect device and session signals that help identify fraud patterns. These include device identifiers, browser fingerprints, network metadata, and behavioral signals. Customers configure how they use these signals as part of their security program. We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or payment details through the SDK unless explicitly provided by the customer integration.

How we use data

We use data to provide the service, improve detection quality, prevent abuse, and ensure reliability. Specifically, we use collected signals to generate device identifiers, compute risk scores, detect anomalies, and improve our machine learning models. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Data retention

Device signals and identifiers are retained for the duration necessary to provide the service. Customers can request deletion of their data at any time. Aggregated and anonymized data used for model improvement may be retained longer, but cannot be linked back to individual devices or users.

Data sharing and processors

We use third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting and CDN services) to operate Deep ID. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data. We do not share device signals or identifiers with any third party for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.

Security measures

We implement industry-standard security controls including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring, and regular security assessments. Our infrastructure is designed to meet enterprise compliance requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. If you are an end user of a service that uses Deep ID, please contact that service provider directly. If you are a Deep ID customer, contact us at privacy@deepidsdk.com to exercise your rights. We comply with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks.

Cookies and tracking

The Deep ID SDK does not use cookies. Our website may use essential cookies for functionality and analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our website or direct notification to customers. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
